for some reason this s**tware noone gave a s**t about before has gotten a popularity spike. i'll get back to this later.
basically they are over-advertizing and glorifying features that are normal for every downloader since year one and two.
also noobs everywhere.

it's obvious that people's COMMON SENSE 2009 is not installed on their brains.
P2P = BAD (your DLs are not private) also p2p is meant for p2p specific application only such as BitTorrent.
One of the main points of downloading from Rapidshare and http/ftp mirrors is that your traffic is PRIVATE 1-to-1 communication between you and the server. You can leak data about what sites you have visited and what you have downloaded through cookies and history though it's your fault entirely if you fail to protect your privacy and leak such data by accident.
just get DownThemAll or Free Download Manager and something like VideoDownloadHelper or learn to copy the files straight from your browser cache. (FLV files etc.) *

Also avoid all the ads and additional software offered on VDH and any other's sites. Some of them are unverified and some are simply not needed because people already have good videoplayback tools such as MPC-HC and MPlayer etc. *

I'm not exactly a friend of jdownloader either but i'll get back to that some other time. *
